MAURA A. SNABES
Esquire, Principal, CES®, NTP®
Maura Snabes practices in the areas of ReaL Estate and Corporate Law. She has been corporate legal counsel for a title company since 1994 and SVP Counsel at Corporate Settlement Solutions since 2002. As a Certified Exchange Specialist, she founded the qualified intermediary Corporate Exchange Services in 1995, and regularly conducts 1031 exchange seminars.
Ms. Snabes is highly involved with the community and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan; Charlevoix-Emmet Bar Association; Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity; Antrim-Charlevoix-Kalkaska Association of Realtors and is a Michigan Land Title Association Board Member and Committee Chair. She is also a licensed Michigan real estate broker.
Ms. Snabes and her husband have three children and live in Charlevoix, Michigan. She enjoys singing, outdoor activities and participating in and watching competitive sports.
JEROME E. JELINEK, ESQ.
Principal
Jerome was the founder and served as Chief Executive Officer of our parent company, Corporate Settlement Solutions, LLC, since its inception in 1992 until March 2024. He now serves as CSS’ Chairman. Prior to CSS, Jerome was in private practice in the Detroit area, concentrating in real estate law and commercial litigation. He is a past-president of the Michigan Land Title Association, and has presented on a variety of real estate topics to attorneys, realtors, lenders and title industry members. In addition to the MLTA, Jerome is a member of the American Land Title Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the State Bar of Florida. He received his B.A. from Hope College and his J.D. from Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Jerome lives in Traverse City, Michigan, with his wife, Jill, where he remains active in the community and enjoys tennis, biking and boating in beautiful northwest Michigan.
